Ray--

I've had students divide into small groups and read a segment from a novel or other narrative about a person in their early 20's. (I've used excerpts from Shampoo Planet, The Bell Jar, and Two Girls Fat and Thin, but I'm sure there's lots of other writing, fiction and nonfiction, that you could find.) Once everyone in the group has finished reading, they collaborate together to fill out the attached worksheet the Eriksonian aspects of the character.

I think students get something out of this, and they seem to enjoy it..

I'm looking for some in-class activities to supplement lectures on
Erickson's Stage of Psychosocial Development. The class is an AP
Psychology class consisting of bright seniors. Any ideas would be
greatly appreciated.
