Amusement park, my foot! If I'm not mistaken, that experiment took
place at the famous Capilano suspension bridge in beautiful
Vancouver, B.C. When my daughter moved to Vancouver, I urged her to
take a walk on it, which she declined, not out of fear but because
the company which maintains it charges a rip-off fee of $17 for the
privilege. It's also notorious as the place where a distraught mother
dropped her baby off the bridge, who miraculously survived unharmed.
The baby had Down syndrome.
