Does anyone know anything about the Oxford Round Table, held at Oxford, England in April?
I've been invited to attend - at a steep price of close to $3000 - and I don't know whether it's truly an honor, worth considering, or whether it's one of those pseudo-academic vanity things like "Who's Who in American Colleges." The papers presented at last year's conference were published by McGill University, but that doesn't really tell me a lot either.
