Bob: Many thanks for your note of almost 2 weeks ago. That, BTW, might
indicate my level of acivity, i.e., I thought you ad written back only a
few days ago. It certainly sounds as though you're not just sitting
around, either.

If you're wondering, I do miss the reading sessions. In fact, I get
some early June twinges that are much like the late August twinges I
experience as a new semester is about to start. The new people at Albion
are doing a splendid job. They have gone from about 80 majors to almost
double that. And that's in the fall semester, too! Spring is even
higher. I don't envy them come academic advising and directed study
time. They were just granted an 7th full-time slot, the one which we
were to have been awarded in 19__83__!
(A major spat with the dean left us wounded all this
time.) Hey, I'm being too chatty.

Keep up your good work and write back. Enjoy London and stay away from
CA! DKH

PS: Still into the Sedish cars, i.e., an '85 Saab 2-dr (a fairly rare
model and is parked for the winter), a '97 Volvo 850 wagon, and a 2000
V70 AWD wagon. Let it snow! D

Dave,

Good to see your name every once in a while. How are things going in
retirement land. I'm still working but only at one job (the teaching
at IUK job). Things are still busy, but we are having looking forward
to a few more pleasant experiences. We spent 5 days in LA in
September. The major reason was to see the Dr. Phil show taped and we
saw three episodes taped in one day. We also took a bit of time to
decide for ourselves that LA is a Ghetto and we really don't want to
spend much more time there. In March we are going to London over the
Spring break. We got such a good deal that we couldn't not do it.
Margie has never been and I haven't been for about 10 years.

I do hope things are going well. I miss seeing you at Advanced
Psychology Camp in the summer. I'll probably go one more time (maybe
two) and then hang it up.

Take care of yourself,

Bob
