Hi folks: We're developing a research-based independent study for our curriculum. This will allow students who want to work on a research team with faculty and actually get credit for it. The students will not just be cheap help for the faculty, but will take a lead role in developing research ideas, designing methodology, conducting literature reviews, etc.
Right now, we need to develop a list of learning objectives and a course description/rationale. Does anyone on our list already teach such a class? Would you be willing to share your learning objectives and course description/rationale? Even if you have a similar course, such as a research practicum, that would be helpful. As always, thanks in advance! Rod ______________________________________________ Roderick D.
