Actually, Richard Posner isn't the source of my claim about the three 
most-cited individuals in history, and I wasn't aware of his work at 
all, although it certainly seems relevant. However, the data he 
provides (see "public intellectuals" at 
http://home.uchicago.edu/~rposner/) is hard to understand, and I 
couldn't find a ranked version. In fact, none of the three names on 
my list appear anywhere in his data, as far as I can tell.

So I have no objections if Beth lists the three according to Posner. 
They're not my three.

And keep those nominations coming!
