In today's New York Times there is an interesting article about a host of errors coming from one research lab at John Hopkins. Although the piece is nicely researched is is too bad that the journalist ends the piece by using anecdotal evidence from heavy ecstasy users to apparently "argue" that heavy ecstasy use is dangerous. A better solution would be to conduct better research (or at least not publish flawed research). I also wonder about retracting already published articles (according to the articles 4 articles had to be retracted). How do you really remove (after the fact) published articles?
