Assistant Professor (One Year Appointment) Psychology (School Counseling emphasis) Department of Psychology, Central Washington University
The Central Washington University Department of Psychology invites applications for a one-year, full-time (9 month academic appointment), assistant professor, with an emphasis in school counseling, beginning September 15, 2004. The appointee will be eligible to apply in a search for a tenure-track assistant professor position with similar qualifications for the 2005-2006 academic year. Responsibilities include teaching counseling-related courses at the graduate level, in addition to general and educational psychology courses in the undergraduate program. Evidence of potential for effective teaching, including supervising counseling practicum, is required. Preference will be given to those applicants who have certification as a school counselor or experience as a school counselor. Screening of applicants will begin April 15, 2004 and continue until the position is filled..
