In covering the attachment ideas/work in Personality and Child psych classes, I am amazed that few writers seem to recognize or give credit to the early ideas of Horney, Sullivan, and Adler all of whom spoke about central security issues felt to be important for later interpersonal relationship skills. Do any of the more knowledgeable tipsters know of current work giving credit to these folks for some relevant ideas? Gary
