Dudes like Piaget and Maslow have theories that assume that that behavior and cognitive development are supposedto follow some kind of orderly sequence. For example:sensorimotor,pre-op, concrete and abstract. I mentioned t6he principle of conservation because that Piaget dude implied that it comes at a certain age. But African children have early experinces where they mold clay and other mud objects and do not see any loss even though the perceptual factors appear to have changed, Maslow idea of taking care of D-needs before fulfilling B-needs is really a Western bias idea.In some societies if you do not show love, you may get food and culture. There are many examples of Eurogenic assumed orderly and sequential events that just do not fly on the global landscape. =======To be continued= Michael Sylvester,PhD Daytona Beach,Florida "I went to a fight and a hockey game broke out" --- You are currently subscribed to tips as: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] --- You are currently subscribed to tips as: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
