        I think I may have given the erroneous impression that I was
attacking Freud.   I was simply doing an informal survey about the beliefs
of *others*.   I'm doing a piece of writing and made a statement that I
suddenly wondered about the validity of (regarding most psychological
scientists paying little attention to the ideas of Freud).   Hey, I like
Freud--he was a lot smarter than most of his critics (even though I think he
was wrong about just about everything :-))
