I have students discuss learning to ride different kind of bicycles for
accomodation/assimilation--i.e., having to adjust to different sizes or to
different balance issues, such as two wheels versus 3 wheels.....

I also can't help but take the opportunity to mention that when I start with
Piaget I also talks about 'theory' versus 'framework' .... and to talk about
the pros and cons of stage theories; so discussion of Piaget leads to many
other kinds of more theoretical discussions.
