Jim Guinee says: Say it ain't so!

I find Erikson's stages extremely useful and applicable to a wide range of life arenas.

I even published an article in "Professional Psychology: Research and Practice" arguing that the experience of a trainee during the predoctoral internship is a reflection of Eriksonian stages.

Here's my shameless advertisement: Guinee, J. P.  (1998).  Eriksons life span theory: A metaphor for conceptualizing the internship year.  Professional Psychology: Research and Practice, 29, 615-620.

Live long and prosper, ya'all.
