Rory, I agree with George and the ACAT is required for graduation at our college as well. I administer the exam in early November in my Senior Seminar class, which is required for all seniors to take in the fall of their senior year. Over the past couple of years, I have gotten the scores back in December or early January. As an additional incentive to encourage the students' motivation, I point out that their ACAT score can potentially be a nice sentence or two that I can add to a letter of recommendation. In the past, our students have taken the test seriously (with an occasional exception).
