Quincy University is seeking qualified candidates for a tenure track,
Assistant or Associate Professorship in School Counseling.  Responsibilities
include teaching a wide range of undergraduate & graduate courses in school
counseling and educational psychology.  Position will also be responsible
for advising students, as well as directing practicum & internship
placements for MA students.  Successful candidates will have an earned
doctorate (ABD considered) in School Counseling, Counselor Education,
Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or other related field.   The successful
applicant must be able to show evidence of:  (1) experience in school
counseling, (2) collegiate teaching experience (3) commitment to the mission
and values of Catholic higher education; (4) commitment to principles of
servant leadership.  Experience with integrated undergraduate and graduate
program delivery a plus.  Position to begin preferably in January 2005
(August 2005, possible)   Review of applications will begin immediately and
continue until position is filled.

Yes, it's entirely possible that Jewish residents of Florida would miss
announcements due to the holidays. Many observant Jews refrain entirely from
using electricity on holidays, especially Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
Others (such as myself) will use, say, light switches, but still won't use
TVs/radios/phones/computers, in keeping with the spirit of these holidays as
a time for personal reflection.

While watching the Hurricane coverage on TV,one official remarked
that there was some concern that Jewish residents may not be aware
of advisories issued because this period ran concomitantly
with Jewish holy days and hence some may not be listening to radios
or watching TV.
 Any feedback? is this possible?
