I need the help of some of you reference hounds out there.
The recent issue of Prevention (November 04) mentions the following in
the News and Trends section on p. 37: "When Australian researchers had
20 obese binge-prone women watch Gale is Dead, a morose movie about a
female heroin addict's demise, they consumed 20% more chocolate
afterward than a similar group of 20 women who were shown a gorgeous
travel documentary about Bali." It then goes on to explain these
results. Given the very small number of clues (Australia is a big
place), I haven't been able to locate a reference for the primary
source. Would anyone happen to know what they are referring to here? I
would like to use something similar as an exercise to teach students
to
find primary sources based on very little evidence so if you can take
me
behind the curtain and tell me how you found the source I would also
be
happy to hear it. Thank you.
