Chris Tenure Track Faculty Position in Social Psychology. The Department of Psychology, University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level in the area of Social Psychology, beginning August, 2005. Areas of research interest are open; however, we are particularly interested in those candidates whose interests complement and/or enhance current areas of faculty research, including health, cognitive neuroscience, and individual and community development. Requirements for the position include a Ph.D., an active research program, a commitment to quality teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level, and the potential to attract extramural research funding. The Department of Psychology at UMKC (www.umkc.edu/psychology) is a young, growing, and dynamic organization. The Department offers an APA-accredited doctoral program in Clinical Psychology (with a health emphasis) and a Master�s program, and contributes to the campus' Interdisciplinary Ph.D. program. UMKC offers a broad range of opportunities for research collaboration both with other schools on campus, such as Medicine and Dentistry, as well as neighboring academic institutions and community organizations.
