Bob (and others): While I agree with you that we are not likely to solve this or any other political problem and we get enough of it elsewhere I hesitate to tell anyone to stop a discussion. I think if people can keep it to a relevant discussion on psychological issues that the discussion should continue just as any other. But I also agree with you that more than one person has overstepped the bounds of appropriate behavior allowed on the list. Name calling, "insane" for example, is a personal attack and calling it political is, imho, a mistake. That is quite easy to slip into with closely held beliefs. Even if one is wronged there are other means to deal with it. A few of us may need to submit public or off list apologies. (Not Bob! I'm talking about the name calling and credential questioning just because one doesn't agree.) This is a discussion list not a debate- So I do agree with Bob that this discussion has ceased to be civil and needs to move back that direction very quickly. Thanks. Tim
