Actually, it isn't.
I do so once every Winter (and Michigan weather is the same as that in Canada, of course)--normally on the coldest day of the Winter if possible. I know a number of other /n/u/t/s/ people who do so as well.
So you're one of those Michiganders who stand out there waiting for Hell (MI) to freeze over ;-)?
