Hello Jean-Marc, A very 'intro' paper on critical thinking and Bloom's Taxonomy is Barbara Fowler's article on the Longview Community College website. Also, take a look at www.criticalthinking.org/ for definitions and resources.

Things are great here in the Yukon. We've had wonderful weather (no heat wave, and not too many mosquitoes this year). And as the global climate is warming, we actually get somewhat longer and warmer summers, so in the very short term, we are profiting from this global catastrophe...! (kind of sick I have to admit...). Anyhow, I'm probing the collective wealth of this list's knowledge. Does anyone happen to know a good reference for an article on Critical Thinking? I would like to make this a more formal part of my intro courses, and am looking for a concise paper on the topic (one that would be appealing and accessible to first-year College students). I thank you much in advance. And thank you to all of you who shared your experiences with regards to online courses, it's been wonderful to to get an idea of what is being done, and how. Cheers!
