Although I have to acknowledge that holy trinity that is The Shatner (i.e., The Kirk, The Hooker, and The Denny Crane) I cannot say that I have been a fervent believer in "The Shat" unlike many of his fans who may think that he is the present tense of that word (i.e., if one views it as verb and if that phrase is still current and cool). Consequently, it is easy for me not remember this denomination. However, I have to admit that it would probably be a whole lot easier to get a Kansas School Board to include The Shatner view of the creation of the world and the universe in its curriculum especially if one were to advertise that The Shatner would actually be there to sign autographs and to tell fans to "get a life".
