Beth, ain’t that the truth. Of course,
that means we have to assume responsibility for our thoughts, feelings, deed.
We can’t surrender ourselves to blaming others: students, colleagues,
administrators, policies, the system, society, etc. I’m giving the opening plenary
address at the Lilly-South conference in February. I’m calling it: “It
Begins With Me.” It’s theme is, in the words of Pogo: “We
have met the enemy, and he is me.” We are what we teach; we are our
perceptions; we are the questions we ask; we are the answers we accept; we are
what we think and feel. Make it a good day. You are currently subscribed to tips as: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] |
