J'accuse - the media. If they'd stop putting it on
the welcome screen of AOL and MSN every time he belchs, maybe he'd just go away.

Hi Nancy: Gotta disagree with you there. You, living in the OC should be well
aware of the pervasiveness of fundamental thinking christians in the area. Just look at the crystal cathedral. Look at how these guys fill every single stadium
every fall in so cal for their harvest crusades. I'm having a senior moment on
the name of the old guy who fills stadiums nationwide. Everyone of these guys,
even after publicly admitting to sins (mostly of adultery, oh my!) are FORGIVEN and get back to the business of spouting nonsense and getting richer. The public admission of wrong-doings and the asking for forgiveness seems to bring in even
more $$ as people realize how human they are, but how well they follow their
own rules afterwards. And, of course, there is always good scripture to cite to
make them heros of their own weaknesses. I sometimes think they make up the
sins.................

NO DATA STATEMENT DISCLAIMER--PERSONAL OPINION (like A@@____@, everybody has
one) I actually blame it on parents raising their children with no religion.
I'm rather glad to have something I can reject and having a basis for that
rejection having been raised with moderate, traditional religion. But children
raised with no religion at home don't know where to turn in life when they have
a search for *spirituality* (NOT THE SAME AS RELIGIOSITY, IMHO) and those
fundies are right there to grab 'em up! Just like cults. (Yes, I dragged my
kids to church until they were about middle school age and figured it all out.)
