I've used the olemiss experiments for classroom lab exercises, not for new
studies. I have found it to be very easy to use once all the students get the
hang of it and are not afraid to download the excel spreadsheets onto their own
computers.

You can get individual and group data, which is great because we have used this
function for looking for outliers and seeing what would happen if we delete
that person's data.

I have also used Coglab which can also be used either online or from a CD and it
works fine, too, but if you use it from a CD you don't get the aggregate data.

Here and there, as with all packages I have used over the past nearly 20 years, starting with Mindscope, there are some problems. Primarily problems arise when
you try to add a nonrehearsal distractor task because students are pretty much
not distracted and continue to rehearse ;(

Quoting Bill Southerly <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:

I will be using some online experiments (http://psychexps.olemiss.edu/) for
the first time in a class and I am requesting two things.

First, if you have used these or similar online experiments could you please
share your experiences and recommendations.

Second, if anyone has examples of experimental lab reports that you could
share regardless if used with online or in-class experiments, I would
appreciate it.

Thanks.

Bill
