You're reading me wrong only slightly.  With the publication of the 100 most dangerous professors and a number of complaints and law suits against "Liberal faculty" who are accused of treating conservative students (often in religion as well as politics) of denigrating their religious and political beliefs, I just thought it was interesting that so many students on the left and right seem not to be as affected by liberal faculty as some Conservative Christian leader have stated.  The Chronicle has an article as well:

WHETHER THEY IDENTIFY THEMSELVES as Democrats or Republicans,
college students agree on the importance of religion and share
a concern for the country's moral direction. But their views on
the role religion should play in politics break down along
party lines, according to a new poll of student's political
   and religious views.

After a debate about the responsibilities of government in dealing with social service issues (in this case primarily around foster care) I just thought it was serendipitous that these articles would appear today.

Bob, I’m reading you wrong, aren’t I?  You’re not saying or implying that to be liberal you must be anti-religion and that as a professor who is an avowed and unabashed liberal it is my responsibility to suck religiosity and spirituality out of students?

Make it a good day.
