Hello there- I would be very interested in good resources to consult regarding construction of test items that really involve thinking (vs. plain old recall). Here at Wake Technical Community College in NC we are being asked to document that we are "assessing critical thinking" in our classes and to show data to support this. Are there resources you can suggest for development of test questions that involve critical thinking (multiple-choice, short answer, essay, etc...). We are hoping to have some faculty training on this topic as well. Any suggestions regarding training would also be very much appreciated!
