The John Calhoun study of rats in a crowded environment was really
meant
to show what could be the eventual outcome of crowded environments in
the inner cities at that time.In this sense the study looked at only
one parameter of city life while ignoring the more dynamic aspect of
community life such as existed in the Warsaw Polish ghettoes.
Another studies of racist bent were those of Hans Eysenck,Thurstone
and those emphasizing the absent father syndromes, and Dave
McClelland(N ach).
