The story revisits Rosenhan's study as well as Slater's story and the research recently reported by Spitzer and his coworkers. (The link labled "published" will take you to a site with PDF's of the original scientific work and some commentary.) The article finishes with some discussion of biologically based diagnostic techniques. It looks like a good article to introduce students to some of our current knowledge about controversy in diagnostic practice.
