Nancy: But I don't think it would be great. I think it would be oppressive. That's what the religious right is trying to do...oppress those of us who don't share their morality. Jim: At the risk of sounding like a pious twit, religion is oppressive because religion exhorts you to be a better version of yourself. And growth is to some extent painful.
