Greetings all,
I will be teaching Research methods (200 level) for the first
time this coming Fall, and have adopted The Practice of Social Research,, by
Earl Babbie (2007, 11th ed).
In an ongoing effort to ensure the courses I teach are on par with Southern
institutions, I would ask any of you who also teach research methods to
kindly share your course outline. I am starting mine from scratch, as not
much was left behind by the previous instructor.
Mostly, I am looking for ideas of assignments, readings, and overall
workload. I want to ensure I ask enough of my students so that they are well
prepared for their southern transfers, and yet, want to avoid being the
over-demanding first-time keener... you know what I mean...
So anyhow, anyone who's comfortable sharing, please contact me!
Thank you very much!
Jean-Marc
