It appears that left-handed males with some college education
earn more money than right-handed males (no effect is seen for
women). One popular media presentation of this "research" is
provided by Reuters via Yahoo and which provides a link to a PDF
of the original report
http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20060811/od_nm/life_lefties_dc&printer=1

The CNN news headline makes the main conclusion more obvious:
http://money.cnn.com/2006/08/10/news/funny/lefties.reut/index.htm?section=money_latest

The researchers are academics associated with different universities
but the report is part of a series sponsored by the National Bureau of
Economic Research (NBER) and their top 25 most read papers are
available at: (the handedness paper is #12387)
http://www.nber.org/top25.html

The data used for the analysis is based on the National Longitudinal
Survey of Youth (NLSY) but it only uses data from the 1993 cohort
(indeed, though the report has a 2006 copyright, the first version of
it is dated 1997) which may raise some questions about the "freshness"
of the data and whether the relationships in existence circa 1993 are
still present 13 years later.
