Ok- So I was obtuse (and overly liberal?). :) Can you say tongue-in-cheek? :) 
Anyway, the only  point I meant to make is I doubt seriously any attempt to 
label this administration as subtle! :) Thanks for the link Joan it is really 
intersting reading-  (although it does seem to me this kind of stuff has been 
going on within the government since my parents were little civil servants in 
the 1960s). :) BTW- I still think incompetence is an equally good explanation 
to most of what you mention! :) (Please don't hate me yall- I'm just suffering 
from a state of constant sarcasm - or is it sardony?) :) Tee, hee! Tim
