Most video clips of Harry Harlow show him  puffing away.
Did he conduct those monkey experiments while smoking and is there =
reason to believe that could have affected some
experimental results?

Yes, since that time, the rise in monkey cancer rates from smoking has increased exponentially.  The simian addiction rate has also increased across labs around the world.  At the same time, cigarettes manufacturers are aware of this and introducing a new banana-shaped cigarette to increase the "cool" factor among primates.

Oddly, there has been some brief evolutionary changes of these nicotine-addled monkeys moving to Daytona Beach and joining the TIPS list?
