Another couple books are Thomas DeBaggio's "Losing My Mind: An Intimate Look at Life with Alzheimer's" and "When It Gets Dark: An Enlightened Reflection on Life with Alzheimer's". He started writing these books not long after his early onset diagnosis in 1999 at age 57, and NPR did 4 interviews with him and his wife and son between December 1999 and November 2000.
