FYI: There's an open-access review of the state of knowledge on 
Alzheimer's disease just published in _Brain_. The occasion is the 
centennial of Alzheimer's presentation on the disease at a meeting in 
Germany on November 3, 1906.  The journal also has a few other open-
access articles on Azheimer's to mark the occasion.
