Do any of you have a working knowledge of the Kaplan-Meier methodology used for survival stats? Is this method sound for use with data from periods of five years or more? References would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I don't have references, but I can't think of any reason that Kaplan-Meier estimates would be less applicable to data collected over years than to data collected over days or weeks. There are many, many published instances: <http://scholar.google.com/scholar?q=%22kaplan-meier%22+years&hl=en&lr=&btnG=Search> --David Epstein [EMAIL PROTECTED] --- To make changes to your subscription go to: http://acsun.frostburg.edu/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=tips&text_mode=0&lang=english
