In response to my post "Why Don't Psychologists Research the
Effectiveness of Their Introductory Courses?" [Hake (2007)], Annette
Taylor in her TIPS post of 24 Jan 2007 16:45:22-0800 wrote [slightly

"When I go to. . . [the URL in the Sotherland et al. (2007)
reference]. . . I get a general page about the CLA but I cannot find
the article itself. I'd like to read the whole article."
Then in a latter post of 24 Jan 2007 16:48:00-0800, Annetta wrote

Unfortunately the article by Sotherland et al. (2007) is, as far as I
know, not on the web. Psychologist Bob Grossman kindly sent me a
copy. Searches for "Understanding CLA Performance at Kalamazoo
College" (with the quotes) at both Google <http://www.google.com/>
and Google Scholar <http://scholar.google.com> yielded zero hits, so
I assume it's not currently online. I hope that situation will change.
The post by Holton (2007) was to PhysLrnR. One must subscribe to
