These are probably white, eurocentric rats that have been bred and experimented upon without regard for their potential as basketball stars, or without regards to their fundamental animal rights. They clearly need representation. I am sure in the future we will not agree to use such hapless animals for participants in research merely to demonstrate some eurocentric principles of learning that would not apply to third world rats. I am not sure an IRB would approve of parading such captive creatures for the perverse enrichment of other captive research participants (college sophomores). We will some day, eliminate all such participants from any kind of research, except those needed for national security purposes. ;-) Well, okay... Gary Gerald L.
