This psych blogger takes a stab at the ten most influential psych studies. Unfortunately, he seems a bit confused about what would constitute a psych research study. Apparently, Freud's (un)original idea about the unconscious gets a nod. Alas, he even makes it appear in the blog that Freud referred to the "cognitive iceberg" of unconscious mental processes. He is actually quoting Westen (1998). http://www.spring.org.uk/2007/02/top-ten-psychology-studies.php Of course, many of the studies derive from social psychology which is the only real psychology left today....;-) Gary Gerald L.
