This psych blogger takes a stab at the ten most influential psych studies.  
Unfortunately, he seems a bit confused about what would constitute a psych 
research study.  Apparently, Freud's (un)original idea about the unconscious 
gets a nod.  Alas,  he even makes it appear in the blog that Freud referred to 
the "cognitive iceberg" of unconscious mental processes.  He is actually 
quoting Westen (1998).

Of course, many of the studies derive from social psychology which is the only
