Are you equating the lack of belief in a diety with lack of belief?  What do 
you mean by "belief?"  If someone believes that people are the source of 
problems and solutions, is that different from belief in Satan's temptations 
and God's grace.  And, more important, did arriving at one belief require more 
work than the other?

Does anyone have any published data that reveals how professors of
psychology compare to other academicians with respect to personal beliefs
(or lack thereof), and/or how those different (or non-existent) personal
beliefs influence teaching (assuming they do)?
