My problem with most of the websites provided so far, is that they focus on the clinical/pathology aspect of psychology.
For example, at http://www.Psychmovies.com they list Nell--but ONLY from the perspective of a misdiagnosis of some pathology. They completely fail to addres how wonderful this film is in terms of various perspectives on language--Southern accents as leading to a perception of the speakers as less intelligent; the development of twin speak, developmental windows for language development, etc. Ther are very many films out there for other areas of psychololgy. I would very much appreciate some ideas posted for films for _other_ areas--there are already plenty for every aspect of clinical. I have included my list, which I have made available in the past, that covers all of the chapters typically covered in an intro to psych class. I started with items in the Plotnik text instructor's manual, and since then have added quite a few of my own, but in keeping with the format I adopted from there, so I give full credit to the author--but I no longer have that ancillary and don't know who authored that manual :( I'd like to add to areas without worrying about diagnostic categories of pathology!
