The author suggests that the facts as reported in the NYTimes and used by Latane and Darling to formulate the background of their work on bystander apathy, are completely distorted. This would not take away from the studies and effects that L&D demonstrated but calls into question what happened to KG. Does anyone on this list have any knowledge of the accuracy of (1) the NYTimes article, or (2) the accuracy of this link?
