Below are descriptions of two tenure-track openings at North Central College, in Naperville, IL. Jon Mueller North Central College invites applications for two tenure-track positions to begin September 2008. One of the positions is in the area of developmental psychology, the other is in the area of cognitive psychology (specific areas of expertise are open). For both positions, a Ph.D. in psychology is required and appointments at the assistant professor level are anticipated, though higher ranks may be considered for suitably qualified applicants. Applicants for both positions should exhibit a potential for excellence in undergraduate teaching and mentoring, as well as a commitment to scholarship that includes collaborative research with undergraduates and an interest in contributing to an interdisciplinary general education program.
