Robin- Why not, Denial-blogging, anger-blogging, depression-blogging, and acceptance-blogging? :) Sad about Alex though.
Speaking of denial and teachable moments, was anyone else watching the Bills game on Sunday. I watched about 30 minutes of TV all day but, just my luck, I was paying attention at that exact moment! The latest from the players surgeon is really bad news. I have to admit that I said one of Carlin's 7-dirty-words when I saw it happen as it was obviously a horrible injury - it looked about as bad as I've ever seen for a spinal injury. Those of us with football player students can expect some questions about spinal injury, etc. (or not, if they are in denial). Hope you are all having a great Monday! I've put a short eulogy for Alex up on my blog: http://www.boston.com/missconduct/ (I forwarded your e-mail to my husband immediately, who also put up a post, post-haste, on his blog: www.improbable.com. Might we have discovered a new 21st-century stage of mourning? Denial, Anger, Blogging, Depression, Acceptance?) I'm surprised the news affected me this much. He meant more than I even realized.
