Periodically, I'd recommend that people check out the site, SAGE Journals
Online -- Current Free Trials at http://online.sagepub.com/cgi/freetrial

Currently (until Sept. 30) there is the Psychology Free Trial - Free Online
Trial to 35+ SAGE Journals in Psychology, Psychiatry, and Counseling (see
http://online.sagepub.com/cgi/register?registration=FTNPSIPUBLIC

You'll need to register (free) to gain access to these trials.

The available resources are an excellent source for education, professional
development, and continuous improvement.
The articles are downloadable in a pdf format; you can save them by pasting
is a portion of the title to facilitate access for future study. SAGE
inserts your name to the bottom of the pdf pages to identify that you've
received the items for your own personal study. The copyright rules allow
such receipt of published articles for private study; but you can use
summarized information in reports and educational presentations.

In the past, I've found this source to be an excellent review of major
developments in the field of psychology.

The other tool that I use is the receipt of journal TOCs supplied by the
Resource Centre of our local health authority as they are available. This
enables me to select relevant articles which are then sent to me.

All this facilitates ongoing professional development, attainment of private
study CECs, and the expansion of my resourcefulness as a consultant.
