Here at UNO we are in the Social Science category in the College of Arts and Sciences. We have attempted to get some of our lab courses (e.g., Animal Behavior, Neuroscience, Hormones and Behavior) to count as Natural Science courses, but to no avail. Part of the resistance, as I understand it, involves the Natural Sciences viewing it as a potential reduction in their own credit hour production.
