It seems that there are a number of reported cases where surgeons have operated 
on the wrong side of  the brain.For example the patient  might have indicated 
that the problem was felt on the right,but yet through human error the surgeon 
operated on the left.Interestlingly enough despite the error the patient did 
not suffer
dire consequences.Lashley was the dude who promoted the idea that it was not 
the specificity that mattered but the amount of brain tissue involved.What this 
demonstrates ts that brain systems are inter-connected.
