Interestingly, the article states that  "In 2002, a survey in the Review
of General Psychology ranked Bandura as the fourth most eminent
psychologist of the 20th century, behind B. F. Skinner, Jean Piaget and
Sigmund Freud". 
 
I don't doubt for a minute the importance of Bandura's contributions or
his deserving of the award. Moreover, I am sure that the selection
committee did not rely solely on the survey mentioned above. However, I
wonder if that is the same survey that contained a number of errors
which Stephen had picked and which the journal refused to properly
correct.
