Assistant Professor of Psychology - Ferris State University. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in introductory, personality, and abnormal psychology. Other courses might require coverage depending on qualifications, personal interest, and departmental needs. Required Qualifications: Candidate must have a Ph.D. in clinical or counseling psychology by the time of appointment. The successful candidate must demonstrate the potential for undergraduate teaching excellence, be able to contribute to the on-going development of the Psychology Program, and exhibit the capacity to involve undergraduates in research. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated undergraduate teaching experience, ability and/or interest in teaching an undergraduate course on counseling theories, ability and/or interest in teaching an undergraduate course on adolescence psychology, and ability to supervise student interns.
