Starbucks has decided to do away with serving breakfast.Apparently the
smell/taste of bacon and eggs were interfering with the coffee aroma and taste

  That's not cross-modal. That's intramodal.

I thought so myself. However there seems to be an interaction betwwen taste
and smell. As we age there is decline in olfaction, but we are likely to blame
it on a decline in taste.Been to a wine tasting party lately? Why do they smell
the wine before drinking it?
